The Soldier Crab (Dotilla myctiroides) can be found among shores of Eastern Asia. They dig into sand creating "igloos" above their burrows where they seek shelter. They require access to both water and land, as they are not purely aquatic. They are very quick, relying on their speed to quickly access their homes to avoid predators. Their diet should consist of carnivorous preparations and occasional seaweed - they should not be housed with small fish, as they may predate upon them.
