The Porites is one of the toughest and most hardy stony corals available. It's an encrusting coral that likes to spread out before building up it's thick branches. They do best if kept in moderate/high lighting with moderate flow. Feed them trace elements like coral foods and supplement their growth with coral additives for best results.
