Great active fish. Arrived healthy and Right after acclimation it made itself at home in the aquarium and started eating. Definitely not shy!

Our wrasse came in looking very weak (shipping was delayed due to the carrier, not saltwaterfish.com), and during drip acclimation the fish laid on it's side for the entire drip duration. Once in the tank, the wrasse made it through the night but passed away the next day. Customer service was very prompt and gave us store credit in which we are very thankful for!

Delivered a little on the smallish side (about 1.75"), but it's been a fantastic fish so far. Added him with an orange spot goby as the first two fish in the tank. Take note that this fish may appear on death's door upon arrival -- pale color, laying at it's side, etc. This is typical behavior, don't panic. Acclimate properly (15-20 minute float to normalize temps, then slow-drip tank water to double the volume ... dump out 1/2 and repeat) and you should be fine as this is a fairly hardy species. Within an hour of introduction into the tank he had found a hole in the rocks to hide in for a while, but within an hour he was already popping out and exploring a little bit. Enticed him to take mysis on night-1. Overall a great fish. Very active, voracious eater, not easily startled. Fantastic color and he's always "flashing" the brilliant fins. Will be one of the more timid fish you can put in your tank so add him early to establish his spot in the tank before other fish join the community -- and then, house only with peaceful tank mates.

Very Hearty fish. He eats mysis, and Omega one pellets three times a day( very active, feed small amounts.) Very colorful, personality wise, he's very curious.
