The Chalice (Oxypora sp.) is a brilliantly colored coral with a heavy tissue matter over its skeleton. The heavily tissued, fleshy body adds amazing texture, and makes it a beautiful addition to any tank. The Chalice coral is very easy to maintain, and makes a very good choice for a beginner aquarist. Being a hardy species, it can be grown in low to high coral light settings. It grows best with brightest colors under moderate to high light.
